Meditation

Meditation is a practice that involves training your mind to focus, relax, and become more aware of your thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations.

Physical Exercise is a crucial aspect in Karate Training. It invoves bodily activities that enhances physical fitness, fexibility, and overall well-being. It includes Running, Jogging, Stretching, Balance Training, Etc.

Kihon

Kihon means “basics,” or “fundamentals,” and includes stances, strikes, punches, kicks, and blocks. By repeating these elements, you’ll learn correct body posture, breathing techniques, and build balance, stability, and concentration. Kihon also helps foster the correct spirit and attitude you’ll need to succeed.

Kata means “form.” These are prearranged movements that simulate a battle between you and one or more imaginary opponents. Kata are meant to train your form and flow as you move from one stance to another. Think of it like a choreographed dance or symphony. Kata are useful for practicing fighting movements, developing muscle memory, and training your mind and body for discipline and efficiency

Kumite

Kumite is a fundamental aspect of Karate training that involves sparring or fighting with a partner. It's a dynamic and interactive way to practice techniques, develop reflexes, and improve overall martial arts skills. Kumite helps develop and refine techniques in a dynamic and interactive environment. Kumite training enhances reflexes, reaction time, and overall physical fitness. Kumite practice improves timing, coordination, and overall martial arts skills.

Arambagh Karate Academy is the most oldest karate academy of Arambagh subdivision. Its journey was started in the year of 1990 naming Arambagh Karate Institute (AKI), by Shihan Mohadeb Sarkar at Arambagh, Hooghly. At the begining phase, AKI was affiliated under Indokan Karate International. In 2003, AKI got affiliated under Institute of Shotokan Karate-Do Foundation (Bharat). In 2016, AKI changed its official name from 'Arambagh Karate Institute' to 'Arambagah Karate Academy (AKA)' and got registered under govt. of West Bengal. Since the Begining, AKA has been following Shotokan Style Karate which is one of the most popular modern Karate Style. In current days, AKA is containing a huge student base with many exprerinced Trainers under the guidance and surveillance of Chief Instructor Shihan Mohadeb Sarkar.
